Dear Journal,

I will never tire of Doug references. I'm just glad people remember it even if most references are of Doug's desparity for Patti (I think the majority concensus I've seen thus far is that her name is spelled with an "i" but honestly who cares?). Funucking hilarious stuff.

I reread that last paragraph now and it sounds like I'm being sarcastic, but I'm not. Perhaps I'll make a fancomic about Doug once I get my Wacom Graphire tablet...

That's right kids! Tablet time! Although I refuse to spend another $100 or so dollars just to have an extra 2-4 inches bigger tablet, I will love my Wacom Graphire3 4'x5' Sapphire Blue Tablet that I won forever, considering it's in good condition as promised.

And that's my big announcement. I've been putting off sketching or any art because I've been frustrated with the editing process of penciling (oh but I still love penciling best; if only there was a tablet out there whose surface FELT like paper...zOMG), scanning, cleaning, and more cleaning with Flash MX and possibly the Pen tool in Photoshop. I realized hey, lemme draw straight to the computer so I don't lose shit. Once I came up with this great idea, I received an invitation to claim a Nobel prize. I respectfully refused and told them that all I wanted was to time-travel back and kick Robert Horey in the face for making the game-winning 3-pointer against the Kings in the playoffs.

(Robert Horey is probably a respectable man, so I will half-retract that last statement, and will fully retract it if he donates a cool $1 million to me. Be cool Horey, be cool.)

I'm sure it'll still be a while before I make anything even when I get my tablet since I'll be making trial and error attempts. Have a happy school year everyone.
